“We really enjoyed visiting Apopo Rat museum. It was interesting to learn that those rats are saving lives ! We were able to hold a rat and learn great facts about their job. Next we went to Siem Reap Elephants sanctuary. Wow, what a great experience! We made rice and banana bowls for the elephants and fed them, It was a lot of fun and laughter. After that we followed them going to the mud bath and into the river. We were able to wash them and the guides took lots of pictures for us. 11.Small Group Tour of Kulen Elephant Forest

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 19 reviews · 4.5 hours · from $96

A 4.5-hour small-group visit to Kulen Elephant Forest in Siem Reap, feeding elephants and walking the forest with a guide.

“The tour was great! The elephants that live in this wildlife community have been saved from captivity and couldn’t survive alone in the wild. The center provides the elephants the necessary food and care for them, they are free to roam and bathe in the forest. The center organises two tours per day and each tour lasts about 1 and a half, this could be a little stressful for the animals but the proceeds go to the food and maintenance of the elephants as well as to the amazing animal handlers and the staff of this lovely community. We were able to walk with the elephants, feed and pet them…”
