“I really really enjoyed this. The tour was short and quick, but I learned a lot during that time and it was fascinating. It was also nice to see how the silk farm is supporting the local women and doing good within the community. The boat ride was so peaceful and beautiful, it was a lovely reprieve from the city. I didn’t do the activities but that was fine for me, we were still shown how everything is made. The boat ride is the highlight. Overall, this is a one of a kind experience, unique to Cambodia. If you have some free time, I would recommend coming here!”

“This activity was INCREDIBLE. The best 3 hours we spent in Cambodia! The boat ride across the lotus fields was absolutely amazing. We were then shown how the ladies process the lotus flowers/stems after we were able to take part in 3 crafts, carefully shown how to make each one. We then had lotus tea & biscuits. After a browse in the shop we were given a leaving gift (on top of the lotus bouquet we’d already been given). Just such a lovely morning.”

“Fascinating explanation of the many ways people have found to use the lotus plant. From fibers used to weave silk cloth to seed pods strung as beads to petals dried for tea - multiple creative uses. Tour included a pleasant boat ride as well as "arts and crafts" time. We made seed pod bracelets, paper, incense sticks and extracted silk fiber strands from the lotus stalks.”
